Milford - Joshua W. Meding passed away Feb. 28, 2018. He was born Dec. 7, 1991 in Seaford Memorial Hospital.
Josh was a free spirit who loved life. He spent every chance he could living it to the fullest and doing all the things that brought him happiness. Some of these things include fishing, surfing, baseball, wrestling, basketball, and bowling. Josh enjoyed going to the beach and taking the boat out on the water, but more than anything Josh loved spending time with family and friends. He took every opportunity he had to be with them and would do anything for them. He had a huge heart and a childlike nature. His days were filled with making people laugh. He was loved by so many and will be greatly missed by everyone.
Josh is survived by his parents, Pam and Art Meding of Milford; his brother, Matthew; and his sisters, Alyssa and Ashley. He is also survived by his nephews, Landon and Tristan; and his niece, Payton. He leaves behind his maternal grandparents, Katherine (Rose) and Richard Hawes. Josh had several family members including four aunts, Cindy, Tina, Sheila, and Amy; two uncles, Sean and Joe; seven cousins, Lauren, Tripp, Lindsey, Trevor, Teagan, Jushlyn and Ashley; three great aunts, four great uncles, and 14 second cousins that he's loved by and very close to. He will also be missed by all of his countless friends.
Josh's family will be celebrating his life on Friday, March 10, 2018. A viewing will be held at Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St. Milford, DE 19963 from 4 to 6 p.m., service at 6 p.m., followed by a gathering at the Milford VFW, 77 Veterans Circle, Milford.
