Harmon, 61 DOVER - Lillian Lowan Harmon was born June 2, 1952 to the late Richard and Claudina Green Harmon in Wilmington, Del. She was a faithful member and supporter of Solid Rock Baptist Church for several years. She belonged to the Pride of Dover Temple #784 of Elks for over 30 years. She had a kind and loving spirit and would lend a helping hand wherever or whenever needed. She was a good cook and would feed anybody who was hungry. All the children knew that she kept snacks and goodies in her room and would go up there as soon as they came in the front door. She enjoyed watching Family Guy and the Cooking Channel. She leaves to cherish her memories three sons, James Harmon (DeeBora) of Dover, John Waters, Jr. of Atlanta, Ga. and Keith Waters of Dover, Del.; one daughter, Valerie Heath (Rondell) of Dover, Del.; four brothers, Richard Harmon of Dover, Milton Harmon (Arlene) of Newark, Del., David Harmon of Woodside, Del. and Jay Harmon (Reholda) of N.C.; three sisters, Deborah and Terrylin Harmon both of Dover, Del. and Captain Naomi Flowers of the U.S. Army; one uncle, William Heath (Marian), one aunt, Flossie Cole all of Wilmington, Del.; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, numerous friends, club members; three very close friends, Alice Toppin, Barbara Franklin and Jeanette Stroud and a very special friend, Mattie Eaton and four god-children. Funeral services will be Mon., June 10, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Solid Rock Baptist Church, West Street, Dover, DE with a viewing two hours prior. Arrangements by Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Dover.
