MARYDEL, Del. - Violet M. "Vi" Comeaux died on June 25, 2013 in the Seaford Center. Seaford, Del. She was born in Baltimore, Md. on Jan. 18, 1940 to the late Caleb Griffin Ward and Margaret Estelle Campbell Ward. She attended school in Hereford, Md. and took college courses at Delaware Technical Community College in Designer Art and Interior Design. She worked with Tupperware as a zone manager, Sears in the home improvement department as an interior decorator, and for the last 20 years with Lowes, in Dover, as a Kitchen Design Specialist. She enjoyed drawing sewing, cooking, dancing, and just about anything with her family. She was a former member of the Greensboro Baptist Church and Modern Maturity Center. Mrs. Comeaux is survived by sons, John C. "Sonny" Comeaux, Jr. and his wife Linda, of Marydel, Del., and Rod Comeaux and his wife Debi, of Pocomoke, Md.; brother, John L. Ward of Cockeysville, Md.; three sisters, Darce J. Corbin of Phoenix, Md., Anne M. Lilley of Westminster, Md., and Lois L. Cole of Whitehall, Md.; four grandchildren, Brian Comeaux and his wife Tori of Smyrna, Del., David Comeaux of Middletown, Del., Kathy Comeaux of Pocomoke, Md., and Phil Comeaux of Pocomoke, Md.; and a great-grandson, Remy Comeaux; she is also survived by her fiancé, Dan Shea of Seaford, Del. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 W. Sunset Ave., Greensboro, Md., where relatives and friends may visit Friday, June 28, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at the Greensboro Cemetery.
