GEORGETOWN - William W. Ryder went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018. He was born in Phoenixville, Pa., on Saturday, April 8, 1961, son of Harry and Patricia (Rhoads) Ryder.
Bill grew up in Collegeville, Pa. He graduated from Spring-Fold Senior High School in Royersfield, Pa. and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He worked as an HVAC Technician for 30 years, most recently with Service Energy. Bill liked working with his hands, target shooting and collecting model cars. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Georgetown for the past ten years where he served as a trustee.
In addition to his parents, Bill is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Teresa L. Ryder; his daughter, Amber L. Ryder of Georgetown; his brother, Allan Ryder and his wife Melanie; his nephew, Luke of Smyrna; his brother and sister in law, Brian Hill Sr. and Laura Hill of Seaford and Barry and Donna Hill of Harrington; his nephew, Brian Hill II and his wife, Amanda Hill; and a great nephew, Jacob Hill of Seaford.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at 11 a.m. at The First Baptist Church of Georgetown, 20304 DuPont Blvd., Georgetown where friends may call beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow services at Oddfellows Cemetery, Seaford.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bill's name to the First Baptist Church to the address listed above.
