SMYRNA - Victor A. Rein, Sr., age 75, of Smyrna, went home to be with the Lord he loved and served on Monday, June 16, 2014. Victor was best known for his strong faith in God and devotion to his family. He was a long time member of Townsend Free Will Baptist Church. Victor retired from New Castle County as a heavy equipment operator. He had a way of making people smile and laugh. Victor also enjoyed baseball in his spare time. Victor is survived by his loving wife, Eva Rein; son, Victor Rein, Jr.; daughter, Bonnie Lou Miller (David); two grandchildren, William and Victoria; two brothers, Hiram Vaughn, Jr. (Janice) and Charles Vaughn (Marcy); and sister, Eleanor Willoughby. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Kathleen Rein; and granddaughter, Crystal. A visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday, June 28, 2014 in the Townsend Free Will Baptist Church, 4519 DuPont Pkwy, Townsend, DE 19734 followed by a service in celebration of Victor's life at 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
