Folker, Jr., 47 HENDERSON, Md. - Bernard L. Folker, Jr. 47 of Henderson, Md., passed away on July 7, 2014 in Anne Arundel Medical Center. Bernie was born on May 28, 1967, son of Bernard Folker, Sr. and Shirley Hunter Folker of Marydel, Md. He was a lifetime resident of Queen Anne's County where he was raised on Sand Hill Farm, Ingleside, originally his grandparents farm that he now owns. He was a 1985 graduate of Queen Anne's County High School, received his bachelor's degree from Salisbury and his masters in Computerized Cartography from University of South Carolina. Bernie worked for Queen Anne's County Parks & Recreation for the last 6 years. He enjoyed playing the guitar and drums, fishing, crabbing and hunting and riding his Harley. Along with his parents he is survived by his daughters, Andrea, Jessie and Abby Folker all of Centreville, Md.; his companion, Missy Vanskiver; his sister, Teresa Pusey and her husband Howard of Hebron, Md; his brother Matthew Folker of Marydel, Md; and his niece and nephew, Amanda and Nicholas Pusey. Funeral service will be 12 p.m., Monday, July 14 in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, Md., where friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial in Sudlersville Cemetery.
