Sivley , Jr., 37 MILFORD - James David (JD) Sivley , Jr., 37 of Milford, died Saturday, August 16, 2014 at home. He is son of the James D. Sivley, Sr. and Donna Ferguson Sivley. He was born February 25, 1977 in Dover, Delaware and worked as an equipment operator for Jerry's Paving in Milford for ten years and Daisey Contracting. JD was hard working and generous to many in need. He was an avid outdoors man loving nature, fishing, crabbing, bowling and Xbox and fishing. JD treasured his father's old truck and was the proud captain of the Bass Boat called the "Hog Hunter". His favorite holiday was Thanksgiving, where he did all the cooking and was a diehard Redskins Football fan. His father James Sivley, Sr. and brother Shawn Pfau preceded him in death. He is survived by his two children, Taylor Yvonne and James Sivley 3rd, who were his greatest treasures in life; his mother, Donna; and a special friend, Mahoda Taliaferro. Also, loyal K-9 companion, Sable Elizabeth Rose. He leaves this Earth with a legacy of love, inspiration and a heart of great consideration for others. It is with immense sorrow that we must say "Goodbye". His joyous spirit will be greatly missed by all who loved him, and he will be forever with us as our protector and special guardian angel. A funeral service will be 7 p.m., Friday August 22, 2014 in the Chapel of Berry Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front Street, Milford, where friends may call from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. for a viewing. Interment will be private.
