Kenneth Karl 'Kenny' Bell, 39

NEWARK - Kenneth Karl "Kenny" Bell, of Newark, departed this life on Friday, March 14, 2008. He was 39.

Born on July 25, 1968, in Elkton, Md., the son of Bonita Bell and Melvin Rowe.

He was employed for two and a half years with Austin@Bednash Construction, Inc., as a truck driver until his death.

He was preceded in death by his son, Andre Walker.

He is survived by his parents, Bonita Bell and Melvin Rowe of Cecilton, Md.; stepfather, Cliff Reed of New Castle; grandparents, Jean Allen and Arthur Hollingsworth Sr. of Cecilton; grandmother, Thelma Rowe of Golts, Md.; children, Tia, Julius, Taisa Williams, Kennysha Bell, all of Newark, Shanay Demby of Pondtown, Md., Kenard and Tahaiyah Bell of Pahokee, Fla.; siblings, Melvina Medley (Manuel) of New Castle, Michael Bell of New Castle, Tanya Rowe of Penns Grove, N.J., Teresa Rowe of Newark, Alisa Waters and Sterling Rowe (Dawn) of Middletown; one granddaughter, Nevaeh Williams of Newark; a devoted friend, Dr. Jacqueline Gibson; devoted uncle, Uncle Jamie "Ace" Allen; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends and family are invited to the visitation at noon Saturday in Union Bethel AME Church, 161 Church St., Cecilton.

Interment will follow at Union Bethel Cemetery, Cecilton.

Arrangements by Minus Funeral Services, Dover.
