Barbara Mannering Obituary
MIDDLETOWN - Barbara V. Mannering, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009. She was 74. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Leon F. Mannering; a son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Kim Mannering; a brother and sister-in-law, H. Harvey and Hazel Voshell; a sister, Laura Schrader; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and members of their families. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, 2009 at Summit United Methodist Church, 554 Old Summit Bridge Road, Middletown, and from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, followed by funeral services at noon. Burial will be at Forest Cemetery in Middletown. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Summit United Methodist Church, 554 Old Summit Bridge Road, Middletown, DE 19709.
