MILFORD - Joseph N. McMahon of Milford, formerly of Sewell, N.J., on Jan. 8, 2011. Aged 95 years. A kind hearted, hard working man who never got angry; Joe was great family man who would never say no to a road trip. A truck driver for BP for many years, Joe knew the area like the back of his hand and was always happy to help anyone with directions. He drove cross country 3 times, once just to visit Tom Mix's grave in AZ. He loved watching Western Movies, going to the Drive-In Theater and spending time with his family. It was laughter, beer and coffee that were elements that lent to spending time with Joe even more memorable. His last quote: "If I had to live my life over, I would not change a single thing." He is the beloved husband of almost 60 years to the late Alice (nee Mihlebach); devoted dad of Eileen Pierson (David) and Joseph F. McMahon "Mick"(Kathy); dear brother of Leo McMahon, loving grandfather of David, Jr., Dana, Jennifer, Thomas, Mickey and Mike and Great Grandfather of Brandon, Jacob, Elizabeth, Jessica, Sarah and Maeve; special friend to Pete Peterson, with whom he enjoyed daily walks and talks with in his later years. Relatives and friends were invited to attend his viewing from 10 to 10:45 a.m. and Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Saturday in Catholic Community of Holy Spirit at Holy Name of Jesus, Little Church, Earlington Ave., Mullica Hill. Interment was in Holy Name of Jesus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
