HARRINGTON - Elizabeth Bowden Tull, of Harrington, formerly of Bridgeville went home to be with her Lord, Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, at the Hospice Center in Milford. She was 92. Elizabeth was born Aug. 31, 1919, in Sewards, Md., to the late Clarence J., Sr. and Lola Hoffman Abbott. She was a member of Lifeway Church of God in Bridgeville. Elizabeth supported world missions and the Peniel Ministry in Johnstown, Pa. She also went on mission trips with Men of Action. She enjoyed being around family, cross-stitching, and playing games especially Mexican Train dominos. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Stewart R. Bowde; a son, Dan Bowden; three sisters; and two brothers. She is survived by her husband, Pastor Edwin Tull; six children, Stewart "Chuck" Bowden of Seaford, Claude J. Bowden of Cleveland, Tenn., Brenda Collison of Harrington, Selva Higgins of Chesterfield, Va., Naomi Cooper of Shreveport, La., and Rev. Terry Bowden of Radford, Va.; three step-children, Dorcas Taylor of Lincolnton, N.C., Bill Tull of Crisfield, Md., and Ruth Sneller of Seaford; 16 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; seven siblings, and extended family. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Oct. 17, 2011, at 1 p.m. at the Lifeway Church of God, 7046 Seashore Highway, Bridgeville. Friends may call 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to service. Interment will be private at Bridgeville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Peniel Ministry, PO Box 250, Johnstown, Pa. Arrangements by Fleischauer Funeral Home, Greenwood.
