DOVER - Kenneth Earl Tucker, of Dover, died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, at the Veterans Hospital, Elkton, Md. He was 58. Mr. Tucker was born April 22, 1953, in Ft. Bragg, N.C., to the late David Tucker and Clara Robinson Tucker. He lived most of his life in Georgia. He had served in the United States Air Force. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the American College for Applied Arts with a Commercial Art Degree. Mr. Tucker enjoyed photography and art as far as painting and drawing. Mr. Tucker is survived by his step mother, Essie Tucker of Norcross, Ga.; mother-in-law, Gillie Scott of Phenix City, Ala.; wife, Betty J. Tucker of Phenix City, Ala.; one step-brother, Lester Bernard Whittlesey of Oglethorpe, Ga.; two devoted aunts, Meleader Craig, of Pennsgrove, N.J., and Susie Jones of Carners Point, N.J., Claritha Tucker of Virginia Beach, Va., Beatrice Wiggins of Suffolk, Va., Ethel Watts of Washington, D.C., Arlethea Craig of Fontana, Calif., Magelean Ward of Patterson, N.J., Lula Robinson of Norfolk, Va., and Virginia Robinson of Rialto, Calif.; three uncles, Richard Robinson of Rialto, Calif., Robert Craig of Fontana, Calif., and Warren Ward of Patterson, N.J.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, (Rt.10), Dover. Interment will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear.
