Lester, was a hero to me. He was such a dedicated SDA member and family man. He gave me an opportunity to teach at the school where he served as school board chairman. I remember one winter when he invited a few of the Pathfinders over to his home. He pulled us on a sled behind his tractor in the snow and it was a blast. He swerved back and forth trying to shake us off the sled and he was very successful at doing it. He was a serious yet playful man. I loved him and his family very much. I was his daughters teacher, Carol, for 2 years and what a talented and delightful young lady and a terrific Pathfinder. I think of Lester and the Swift quite often. He is greatly missed. He made the world a better place for being here.

Deepest sympathy and prayers going out to you all. Would stop by to buy produce from your Dad, I had just commented recently how I will miss that. God Bless You All

Lester, was a roll model to me. He was a deeply committed man that was as honest and decent as any I have met. He was the school board chairman at the David G Fleagle school in Seaford and offered me a job as teacher. He was a good man with many friends. He will be missed.
