MILLVILLE, Del. - Nancy Ann Donahue, formerly of Ridley Township, Pa., passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, August 20, 2012 at her home. Nancy was born in Philadelphia, Pa., on March 3, 1947, daughter of the late Charles and Blanche (Henne) Loud. She worked a number of years for the Ridley School District where she had served as a secretary until 1999 when she moved to Delaware. After moving to Delaware she was employed with Bunting Construction for 5 years before her retirement. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Richard Donahue in 1997; and a brother, Kenneth Loud. She is survived by her loving companion of 15 years, Robert Mooney; three sons, Richard Donahue and his companion Wendy Ridge of Frankford, Steven Donahue and his wife Karen of Woodlyn, Pa., and Scott Donahue and his wife Victoria of St. Maarten; a sister, Linda Keller of Boiling Springs, Pa., and three granddaughters, Christa, Ashley and Jordan. A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at the Ocean View Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 38040 Muddy Neck Rd., Ocean View, DE 19970, where friends may call after 4 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Nancy's name to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
