DOVER - Josh Tye Williams, Jr. is at peace leaving this world Dec. 1, 2012. Josh graduated from Kentucky Military Institute, attending the University of Kentucky and Prudue University and served 20 years in the United States Air Force retiring in 1971. After loving his family, he had a lifelong passion for gardening, cooking, and flying. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ethel Brock Williams and Josh Tye Williams, Sr.; his sisters, Mary Martha Williams and Eloise Williams Sturgill. Josh is survived by his wife of 58 years, Agnes (Terry), who also served in the U.S. Air Force where they met in Japan and were married on Jan. 30, 1954; children, Josh Tye Williams, III and his spouse Lynn, Janet Williams and her partner Pam, Tracey Shivock and her partner Ed; grandchildren, Joshua Shivoch, Sara Shivoch and Josh Tye Williams, IV. A gathering of family, friends, and neighbors who have had him in their prayers and have been so helpful to his family, will be held at the Elks Club Lodge 1903 on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012 from 10 a.m. to noon. Committal service will follow at 2 p.m. at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 100 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE.
