After graduating from South Broward High School, he was a walk-on baseball player at Santa Fe in Gainesville. He honorably served in the United States Air Force from 1970 to 1974. Buddy loved his family, friends and sports, especially his Miami Dolphins. He is known for his quick wit, generosity, and gracious hospitality.
He is a past president of the Rotary Club and past chairperson for ACS Relay for Life. Many people have fond memories of Buddy as their little league baseball coach at OCRA where he enjoyed teaching the fundamentals of baseball and sportsmanship for over 15 years.
His greatest joy came from spending time with his four beloved grandchildren.
