OKEE - Erma May Randolph passed away January 24, 2012, at the Okeechobee Health Care Facility, after a long bout with Alzheimer's. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Lawrence B. Randolph. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jim Schneider, of Okeechobee; her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Valerie Randolph, of Greenville, Ohio; grandsons, Doug (Heather) Schneider, of Nashville, Tenn., and Adam (Brandy) Randolph of West Milton, Ohio; three great-grandchildren, Morgan, Timothy, and Madison Schneider of Okeechobee; and numerous nieces and nephews. She leaves behind the gift of her very special smile, especially for the many extended family members and friends who showed their love and concern in the waning days of her life. We would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Berger and to her dedicated caregivers, especially the ones who treated her as family. The family would like everyone to know how dearly we loved our Mother, Grandma, and Granny. She was the Christian example of a Proverbs 31 woman. She loved all of us with her whole being and we will love and cherish her memory forever. A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012, with an open house from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the home of Jim and Linda Schneider, 8300 SW 9th Street, Okeechobee, FL. All arrangements were entrusted to the loving care of Buxton Funeral Home and Crematory, 110 NE 5th Street, Okeechobee, Florida. Online condolences may be made at www.Buxtonfuneralhome.com.
