Okeechobee - Lloyd Earl Gan died on Sept. 25, 2018 in Okeechobee. He was born in St. Louis, Mo. on Feb. 7, 1928 to the late Ernest and Ada Gan. After serving in the Navy in WWII, Lloyd became an electrician in St. Louis and worked for the Missouri Pacific Railroad, Carter Carburetor and Anhueser Busch. A lifelong Mason, he loved to dance, fish for crappie, and sit on the dock at his home on Taylor Creek. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his late wife, Catherine Balance; and brother, Eugene Gan.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Gan; daughter, Linda Jean Duncan (Bob); stepchildren, Laura Mann, Angie Burns (Bobby), and Pat White; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Masonic services will 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018 at the Masonic Lodge in Okeechobee.
