OKEECHOBEE - Logan James Garner, 22 months, died Feb. 19, 2018 at St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach. After a courageous battle, he passed gently into the arms of Jesus Christ surrounded by his family. He was born April 12, 2016 at Tradition Medical Center in Port St. Lucie to Zachary Garner and Elizabeth Flannery.
Logan's time on Earth was much too brief, but his life will endure as a testament of God's love. All over the United States, prayers were given for Logan to be healed. Though the hearts of those he leaves behind are broken, take heart that Logan is now perfectly healed, and is in the presence of his Savior. Death is not defeat.
He will be remembered for his precious smile and lively personality. His sweetness enriched the world in a way that only a child's innocence could. Only his favorite movies Cars 1, 2 and 3 could captivate his attention from his boundless energy. Fond memories of his dancing, laughing and charisma will be treasured until we see Logan again. To paraphrase his hero, Lightning Mcqueen, Logan created "feelings in others that they themselves don't understand."
Logan is survived by his father, Zachary Garner, of Okeechobee; mother, Elizabeth Flannery, of Stuart; sister, Emma Hegmann, of Palm City; grandparents, James and Robyn Garner, of Okeechobee and Jeff and Cindy Flannery, of Stuart; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
At the family's request private services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Logan's honor may be sent to More2Life Ministries at 605 SW Park St #214, Okeechobee, FL 34972.
The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciate for the outpouring of prayers, love and support during this difficult time.
