OKEECHOBEE - William S. McManus died Aug. 2, 2014 at the Hamrick Home. He was born Feb. 25, 1931 in Pine Hill, N.J. to William S. and Margaret (Mackintosh) McManus. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Naval Reserve. A resident of Okeechobee for 27 years having relocated from Pine Hill, N.J., he was a lifetime member of the Pine Hill Fire Department. He was also a member of IBEW - International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Okeechobee Masonic Lodge 32nd Degree Mason, Consistory Scottish Rite, Order of the Eastern Star and served as Deacon at Westside Christian Church. He loved fishing and woodworking. Mr. McManus is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ruth McManus of Okeechobee; three sons, Raymond T. McManus (Maria) of Lindenwold, N.J., William S. McManus (Lisa) of Franklinville, N.J. and David A. McManus (Michelle) of Williamstown, N.J.; six grandchildren, Danielle Klaiss (Karl) of Pine Hill, N.J., Raymond McManus of Lindenwold, N.J., Stacy Hoban (Brian), Shaina McManus all of Franklinville, N.J., Brenda Martinelli (Jerry) of Barrington, N.J. and Amanda Shannon of Williamstown, N.J.; great-grandchildren, Ethan Klaiss, Maddie Klaiss both of Pine Hill, Ian Hoban, Mason Hoban both of Franklinville, N.J., Kayla Stevens and Adam Stevens both of Barrington, N.J.
