James Samuel Dysart

POCOMOKE - James Samuel Dysart died peacefully Jan. 31, 2014 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury Md. Born in Philadelphia June 11, 1928, he was the son of the late Samuel James Dysart and Elizabeth Margaret Dwyer Dysart. Jim grew up in Havertown, Pa. and served in the US Navy in 1946-49. He was lifeguard in Wildwood, NJ, spending summers with his relatives the Wheatons. Jim retired from Greyhound Corporation after 32 years and made his home on the Eastern Shore of Md. He enjoyed sports including tennis, swimming and sailing. He also loved reading, history and art. He will be missed by friends and family. He is survived by Mary Sarro of Pocomoke; daughter, Janice and husband, Harry Smith of Nazareth, Pa.; son, Jimo and wife, Liz Dysart of S. Seaville, N.J.; daughter, Mary and husband, Mike McBride of Sommers Point, N.J.; daughter, Susan and husband, Joe Neill of Beesleys Point, N.J.; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
