Anna Giordano

Giordano, Anna I. Anna Iodice Giordano, 82, of 1 Sunnyside Drive, Northford, formerly of Hamden died Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Yale-New Haven Hospital, St. Raphael Campus after a short illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis A. Giordano, Sr. Anna was born in Naples, Italy on August 2, 1930, a daughter of the late Ciro and Anna Masullo Iodice. She had resided in Northford for the past eight years, and had previously resided in Hamden for thirty years. Anna is survived by a daughter, Teresa (Rudy) Barthel of Northford, three sons, Pasquale (Catherine) Giordano, Sr. and Anthony (Erin) Giordano of Hamden and Louis (Janice) Giordano of East Haven, one sister, Rosaria Iodice, and two brothers, Vincenzo (Lisetta) Iodice and Salvatore Iodice, all of Naples. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Antonio Iodice. Anna's family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Torello-Iacobucci Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. Her funeral procession will leave from the funeral home on Monday at 9:15 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 10:00 in Blessed Sacrament Church, 321 Circular Avenue, Hamden. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.
