Elenor Fappiano

Fappiano, Elenor L. Moquet "Jim & Red" Elenor L. Fappiano, 84, of West Haven, passed away with family by her side on May 17, 2013 at the Hospital of St. Raphael. She was the beloved wife and sweetheart of Luciano Fappiano for 65 years and the daughter of the late Albert Moquet and Alice Farren Moquet. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by A. C. Gilbert Company, Sho-Pac and the Plastic Forming Company. She loved spending time with her family and friends, the "Breakfast Club" at Duchess Diner, and playing Bingo at St. Paul's Church and Our Lady of Victory. She enjoyed country music and was an avid NY Yankees Fan. She was the devoted mother of her loving daughters Eileen (Chic) Fappiano (Gary Russell), and Lillianne (Lee) Marchitto, and the cherished grandmother of David Marchitto Jr., the light of her life. She is also survived by her brothers Raymond (Ann) Moquet and LeRoy (Carol) Moquet and many special nieces and nephews. She is now reunited with her mother and father, her brothers William Moquet and Albert Moquet and her sisters Susan Stanford and Eileen DeFilippo. The hours for visitation will be Monday from 4 to 7pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home Tuesday morning at 9:30 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in St. Paul's Church. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
