Jerry Rubin

RUBIN, JERRY JULIUS Jerry Julius Rubin, 83, of Hamden, CT passed away peacefully Friday, February 22, 2013, at the Regency House in Wallingford, CT. He is survived by his devoted sons, Jeffrey (of Wallingford, CT), Brian (of Lancaster, PA), and Marshall (of New York City), two grandsons, David and Evan and daughters-in-law, Carmencita (Menchu) and Nilza. He was the husband of the late Cristina Gonzalez. He will also be remembered by his first wife, Selma Goldberg of Hollywood, FL as well as his many nieces and nephews. A long time resident of Connecticut, he was born in Englewood, NJ, and worked and lived as a contractor/builder in Baltimore, MD, Long Island, NY and Connecticut. A US Navy veteran of the Korean War, he served proudly on the battleship USS New Jersey. He was an avid bowler, loved his Dobermans and was proud of his garden and always beautifully manicured lawn. Funeral Services will be held at the Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, MONDAY Morning (today) at 11:00 AM. A Period of Mourning will be observed at the home of Jeff and Menchu Rubin, 119 Summerhill Drive, Wallingford, CT from 5-9 PM this evening. Funeral arrangements in care of Robert E.
