Robert Galdenzi

GALDENZI, ROBERT M. Mr. Robert M. Galdenzi (1941-2012). Retired Guilford Police Officer and veteran of the U.S. Army, Robert M. Galdenzi, 71, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2012 at CT Hospice in Branford. Born on January 21, 1941 to the late Edvige and Alfredo Galdenzi of Branford. After a hard fought battle, he joins his beloved wife, Helen, of 46 years with open arms in heaven, who passed away last year. He is survived by his son, Darren of Guilford; daughter Robin Celentano and her husband Mark of Stratford and two grandchildren, Michael and Amanda Celentano; sister Rina Giordano; brothers Fred (Bonnie) Galdenzi and Richard (Mary) Galdenzi all of Branford. He loved to paint, drive to the dock in Guilford, mow his beautiful lawn, cheer for the New England Patriots, visit the casino, browse antiques, and spend time with his family. Bob finally rests in peace. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 11:00 at St. George Church in Guilford. Burial will follow at Alderbrook Cemetery in Guilford. Friends may call Wednesday from 4-7 P.M. at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St., Branford.
