Josephine Scepanski Obituary

Scepanski, Josephine M. Kycia Josephine M. Kycia Scepanski, 89, of West Haven, died peacefully on Monday, February 20, 2012, at Apple Rehab. She was the wife of the late Zigmund J. (Joe) Scepanski. Josephine was born in New Haven on March 19, 1922, the daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Kotulski Kycia. Josephine is the mother of Gary Scepanski and his wife Roberta of West Haven. She is the sister of Bernard Kycia and his wife Terry of Hamden and the late Walter, Frank and Ralph Kycia. She is also survived by her grandsons, Jeff and Greg Scepanski, great grandchildren, Daniel and Lia Scepanski and a special niece, Frances Simone and her husband Joe and their daughters, Stephanie and Lindsey. Her funeral will leave the LUPINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 821 State Street, New Haven, THURSDAY morning at 9:15 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Stanislaus Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven.
