William Hackley Obituary

HACKLEY, WILLIAM F. In Hamden, October 20, 2011, William F. Hackley of Main St., Branford. He is the husband of Elva Calabro Hackley of Branford. He is the father of William F. Hackley Jr. (wife JC) of Arizona, Joseph Hackley (wife Heather) of Branford, Michael Hackley (wife Annie) of Northford, and Richard Hackley (wife Michele) of Branford. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Mr. Hackley was born in West Haven on June 11, 1930, a son of the late Charles and Vera Hackley. He was the owner of Kern's Sandwich Shop in New Haven. He also owned the Sunset Motel in Branford, My Dad's Place in Branford, and the Madison Hotel & Cabins. Funeral services and burial will be private. The W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St. is in care of arrangements.
