Today is my 21st birthday Dad and it feels unbearable to get through without you here. I miss you so bad that there are no words to even describe the pain. Until we meet again, in my heart you will stay.

Belated condolences from myself, and so many of Tony's Kent School classmates. At Kent, Tony arrived as a junior and immediately commanded attention on the football field as a leader and and athlete. He became a prefect in his senior year, appointed by the Headmaster. Beyond his athletic prowess, Tony was smart enough and worked hard enough to graduate and go on to Yale. He not only played football, following in the shoes of his father, but he learned how to row, a sport that Kent School excels in, and he raced in England at the Henley Royal Regatta in 1968. He is the first member of that NEIRA championship crew to pass away, much too young to die. Ave atque vale, Tony

I am lossed for words at this sad news that unfortunately reached me while I was away and not even able to pay my respects to a good friend and colleaque. Tony and I had a great relationship and was always able to put a smile on my face especially when I needed one. I will miss him very much. My deepest sympathy to his Doreen and his children. This is very distressing to me!

My sympathy and thoughts are with your entire family. I spent my first year at Hillhouse in a room across the hall from Tony and no matter how bad the day was he could always say something between classes that would leave me doubled over in laughter. He will be greatly missed...

I am deeply saddened. Tony B was a unique man of intellect, character, and talent. We taught together at Hillhouse for many years. Tony was modest about his achievements, but area sports fans will remember him as one of the greatest defensive players in the history of Yale Football.

I was shocked to hear this news a few days ago. Mr. Barzilauskas was a valued member of the Hillhouse faculty. His long years of service to the students of Hillhouse will long be remembered. I worked with "Tony B" all the years he worked at Hillhouse. He was always a kind, gentle, compassionate and sincere individual, well-liked by his students and respected and loved by the faculty and staff. His character and temperament were always the same all the years I knew him. He touched the lives of many, many people at Hillhouse during his 20+ years of service. He will be greatly missed by his Hillhouse family.
