It was my privilege to assist Father George Dyer at Mass at Sedgebrook, and part of that privilege was getting to know Alex Monko. He was a true gentleman. A leader in the Catholic community at Sedgebrook, he led by serving and making others feel welcome. No matter what life was throwing at him, he was always able to greet others with a smile and be attentive to their situations. I last saw Alex last month when he was visiting Father Dyer in the hospital. Mr. Monko was a true gentleman. I do not believe I ever saw him when he was not serving others. I will miss him.

Goodbye, Uncle Jake. You are the best. So many wonderful memories. Like your watching golf with my father on TV at the beach, and dropping me off at college for the first time! Love, Sally,Martin, and Christopher
