Yvette Ferneini Obituary
Yvette Chami Ferneini, age 77, of Beirut, Lebanon and Hamden, CT entered into eternal rest on Sunday October 29, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Michel Ferneini. Yvette was born in Beirut, Lebanon on February 9, 1940, the daughter of the late Najib and Marie Chami. Yvette was the backbone of the family, devoted wife, and the best mother. She is survived by her brother Alexander Chami of Beirut, Lebanon and her beloved and devoted sons Antoine (Patricia), Elie (Moniek) Ferneini of Hamden, CT and Roy (Murielle), Marc (Caroline) Ferneini of Montreal, QC, six grandchildren, Christina, Michael, Isabella, and Anthony Ferneini of Hamden, CT and Mia and Lea Ferneini of Montreal, QC, along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to her loving and compassionate caregivers: Lynn Earl and Lakeeta Streater.
There will be no calling hours and the funeral arrangements will be private. Funeral and Christian Burial will take place in the Land of Cedars. Memorial contributions can be made to the Clelian Center, 261 Benham Street, Hamden, CT 06514. Arrangements are with Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Ave., Hamden.
