Alma Lacourciere

LACOURCIERE, ALMA LEPONE Alma Lepone Lacourciere, 85, of East Haven, beloved wife of 56 years to the late Rene Lacourciere, passed away peacefully in Ct. Hospice on January 7, 2014. Alma was born on June 20, 1928 daughter of the late Albino and Emma Adinolfi Lepone. Alma is survived by her nieces Linda M. (James) Prota of Branford, Lisa L. (Art) Alexander of Cheshire, and nephew Ronald J. (Dana) Mattson of North Branford. Great aunt of James R., Daniel, Suzanne, Jon, Jenna, Jonathan and Lydia. Sister in law of Ronald J. Mattson Sr. of Branford and Lorraine Lepone of Cheshire. Alma was a lifelong parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii Church, belonged to The North Branford Women’s Club, Bells and Beaus square dance club, enjoyed baking and most of all her many friends and family. She was employed by United Illuminating, Harold’s of Guilford and Ethan Allen before retiring in 1990. Her family would like to thank Dr. Richard Kaufman, Dr. Bruce Lundberg, Dr. Jeffrey Reynolds and the entire staff of Ct. Hospice for their devoted care. Her funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd (Rte. 80), East Haven MONDAY morning at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 9:30 A.M. At the request of Alma Interment will be private. Friends may call SUNDAY from 4pm to 7pm.
