Anita Acerra Caprio

Caprio, Anita A. Anita Acerra Caprio, 74, of North Haven died peacefully on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford after a short illness. She was the beloved wife of Anthony F. Caprio. Anita was born in New Haven on September 1, 1939, a daughter of the late Theodore and Madelyn Govang Acerra and had resided in North Haven since 1975. She is also survived by a daughter, Anita Morrone of Branford, a son, Anthony (Valerie) Caprio of North Haven, a brother, Donald (Suzanne) Acerra of East Haven, three grandchildren, Jesse Caprio and Amanda and Lindsey Morrone, and two great grandchildren, Lexi Graziano and Callen Friedman. Anita's family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. Her funeral procession will leave from the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. in St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Ave., North Haven. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.
