Arthur W. Grodske

GRODSKE, Arthur W. Arthur W. Grodske, 99, of North Branford, loving husband of 67 years to Alice Lendroth Grodske, passed away June 11, 2013 at Connecticut Hospice. He was born in New Haven on May 6, 1914, son of the late Arthur T. and Gertrude Evarts Grodske. He served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. He worked as a sheet metal worker for United Advertising where he made signs until retiring. Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Janice G. Hecht (Stuart) of Wallingford and Diane E. Grube (Fred) of Clinton; three grandchildren, Simon Hecht, Benjamin Hecht and Jared Grodske; and six great grandchildren, Kristopher, Aidan, Kyle, Ryan, Grey and Ollie. He was predeceased by his son, Stephen Grodske, his grandson, Stephen Grodske; and three sisters, Margaret Peterson, Lois Dingman and Ruth Boyce. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday at Keenan Funeral Home, 330 Notch Hill Road, (Rte. 22 So. at Rte. 80.), North Branford. Family and friends are invited to call from 10 am - 12 noon at the funeral home prior to his service. Burial in Northford Cemetery will be private at a later date.
