WHITE, ARTHUR MICHAEL III Arthur Michael “Big Artie” White, age 74, of New Haven, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014. Born on September 17, 1939, in Norton, Massachusetts, to Arthur White and late Isabel Flynn White of Milford. He graduated from Milford High School, served in the U.S. Army, and attended Paier Art School. Until retirement, he was employed as the night circulation director at Sterling Library at Yale University. He was known for his beautiful collages and artwork. Besides his father, he is survived by his sisters, Mary-Jo Lachance, Carole Duhaime, Claire Lowe, Barbara Sansone, and brother Edward White, all of Milford, and many nieces and nephews. Besides his mother, he is predeceased by a brother, Charles, of Ellington, CT. A private family service was held.
