McCLURE, AUDREY R. SIEFF Audrey Robinson Sieff Calandrelli McClure, 82, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Thomas A. McClure. Audrey was born in New Haven on March 20, 1931; daughter of the late Kenneth and Helen Roberts Robinson graduated from Hillhouse High School 1948 and Larson College (now Quinnipiac University) in 1950. She had worked at the Regional Visiting Nurse Agency for 20 years, retiring as Executive Assistant to the Director. Audrey was President of the Quinnipiack Valley Health District Board of Directors and was an active board member since 1996. She was also a member of the Quinnipiac University Alumni Association-past president Larson Chapter. She was a Charter member and held the position of Secretary for the Peter's Rock Association, and was an amateur archeologist and member of Friends of the State Archeologist (FOSA). Audrey greatly enjoyed bowling, golf, bridge and participated in several archeological "digs", avid Red Sox fan, active in the North Haven Council of Churches Food Pantry Council and Holiday Food Drive for several years, was active in the North Haven Bible Church. Mother of Marcia Brown of Hamden, Robert D. Sieff of Durham, William E. Sieff of North Haven and Paula J. Galluzzi of Madison. Caring "mom" to Thomas E. McClure, Patty McClure, Kevin McClure and Kim Pollack. Also survived by 8 terrific grandchildren and 2 special great-granchildren. Predeceased by her first husband, Paul J. Calandrelli and a brother, Kenneth Robinson, Jr. Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Bible Church on Monday morning at 11:00. Interment will follow in Montowese Cemetery. The visiting hours will be Sunday (TODAY) from 5 to 8 pm at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue.
