Bruce Allen Obituary

ALLEN, BRUCE WESLEY Bruce Wesley Allen, 80, formerly of Clinton passed away peacefully on July 20, 2013 with his loving wife, Leona by his side. He leaves behind his son Frederick (Amy) and grandchildren, Matthew, Leslie and Kathryn of Madison, CT, daughter Martha Pepin (Rene) and grandchildren, Alicia and Joshua of Newport, VT, son, Peter of Zepher Hills, FL, Bonnie Allen and grandchildren, Chelsea and Cally and great grandchild, Collin of Newington, CT and daughter, Beth Nadeau (Keith) and grandchildren, Stephen and Nicole of Clinton, CT. Bruce leaves behind his brothers Leroy, Robert, Paul and sister, Caroline Holley and his lifelong friends, Don, Frank, Tom and their loving families. Bruce worked for the CT Water Company in Clinton, CT for 25 years prior to moving to Florida in 1996. Bruce was a Navy veteran. He held positions in the Clinton Fire Department. He was a Mason, Rotarian and an Elks member. Bruce was a 1966 recipient of the Jaycees Distinguished service award. Contributions can be made to Hospice of Marion County, Ocala, FL. A memorial service will be held in Springs Presbyterian Church with burial in Bushnell Memorial Cemetery following.
