BELLIZZI, CARL J., JR. “SPEEDY” Carl “Speedy” James Bellizzi, 67, of North Branford, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, West Haven. He was the husband of Judith “Judi” Pacapelli Bellizzi. Born in New York, NY on September 8, 1946; son of the late Charles and Marie Moramarco Bellizzi; served his country faithfully in the US Navy during the Vietman era; had worked as a professional photographer retiring from Life Touch Studios of Derby; was a member of West Cove Anglers, Milford Stripe and Bass Club, and the American Legion Post #196, Milford. Carl loved fishing, boating, and photography. He is survived by his step-children Kristin (Jerry) Milo, Suzanne Peracchio and Karen Nieves; step-grandchildren Tony (Nicole), Michael and Nicholas Nieves, Christopher and Ryan Milo, and Jeffrey Peracchio. Brother of Dan (Barbara) Bellizzi. Also survived by a nephew. Funeral Services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, Tuesday morning Dec. 3rd at 10:00. Interment with full military honors will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery, Branford. The visiting hours will be Monday Dec. 2nd from 4 to 7 pm.
