Caroline Porto Obituary

PORTO, CAROLINE CATUCCI Caroline Catuccio Porto, 80, formerly a longtime resident of North Haven, passed away April 1, 2014, in the Miller Memorial Community in Meriden. Wife of the late John P. Porto. Mother of John P. Porto Jr. and his wife Mary Lynne of Meriden, Pasquale Porto of New Haven and Lynne Biele of Enfield. Grandmother of Christopher Berrios. Daughter of the late Carl and Josephine Fulton Catuccio. Sister of Dolores Catuccio of Waterbury and the late Corinne Sottosanti, Bernadette, Geraldine, Carl and Patrick Catuccio. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Prior to her retirement, Caroline worked for the North Haven Board of Education and also worked for the former Uniroyal Rubber Co. Services will be held in the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte 80), East Haven, Saturday morning at 10:00. Interment will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Friends may call SATURDAY MORNING FROM 9:00 TO 10:00. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Miller Memorial Community, 360 Broad St., Meriden, CT 06450.
