Claire Guenther

GUENTHER, CLAIRE A. Claire A. Guenther passed away Thursday June 27, 2013 at her residence. She was the wife of Donald W. Guenther, Sr. whom she was married to for fifty two years. She was born in New Haven, daughter of the late Francis Michael and Anne (Kelleher) Collins. Claire specialized in proofreading before her retirement and was also the owner of her own business Magic Moments. She was a communicant of the Church of the Epiphany in Cheshire. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son Donald W. Jr. and his wife Valentia Guenther of Durham; a daughter Anne and her husband Paul Lenoce of Cheshire; a brother Steve Collins; a sister Sharon Belanger; and five grandchildren Paul, Hannah Claire, and Kevin Lenoce, and Donald W. III and Dmitrey Guenther. She was predeceased by a brother Frank Collins and her twin sister Corrinne Collins. Claire's funeral will be held 9:45 A.M Monday, July 1, 2013 from The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410 to The Church of the Epiphany, 1750 Huckins Road, Cheshire, 06410 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home from 9 A.M until the procession leaves for church.
