GREEN, EDWARD C. Edward C. Green of Westbrook, died on November 23rd in New London. He was born on November 9, 1925, in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Cornelius and Margaret Brown Green. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the US Army with the Military Police in Germany. He moved to Ct with his wife in 1949. He worked for JA Long Florist for several yrs before beginning at YNHH where he worked in the Engineering Dept. until his retirement. He was an avid bowler and won many awards. He and his wife loved to travel. He was a member of St. Mark’s RC Church in Westbrook and the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Green is survived by his wife of 65 yrs, Ann Stevens Green; his children Paul Green and his wife Valery of E. Haven and Betsy Anderson and her husband Edward of Spring Hill, FL; his brother Harold Green of Edison, NJ; grandchildren Kerry Corson, Christopher Piascik, Alissa Tatro and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his siblings Margaret, Neil, Bernard and Walter, and his grandson Dennis Villani. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday Nov. 26th at noon at Swan Funeral Home, 80 E.
