Eileen Carlo

CARLO, EILEEN H. Eileen H. Carlo, 71, of East Haven, passed peacefully June 28, 2013 surrounded by her family after a brave struggle with cancer. She was the wife of Ralph Bruce Carlo and caring mother of Ralph J. Carlo (Jennifer) of Madison, Michael Carlo (Diane) of Meriden, John Carlo of East Haven and Lynn Carlo-LaFogg of East Haven. She was the loving grandmother of Crystal M. Carlo, Alyssa Aldrich and Sydney Carlo. She also leaves a brother Joseph Hart (Carolyn) of Monroe. Eileen was born August 25, 1941 and raised in New Haven, the daughter of the late Joseph and Eileen (Mayhew) Hart. She was the former deli manager at the A&P Store in East Haven and worked many years in retail, most recently as a long time employee of CVS in Hamden where she retired from. Services will be private. Friends may call at Hawley Lincoln Memorial, 493 Whitney Ave., New Haven, Sunday from 3-6pm.
