Elizabeth Watson Obituary
WATSON, ELIZABETH A. MOULTER Elizabeth A. Moulter Watson, 97, of Wallingford, died Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the Westfield Care and Rehabilitation Center in Meriden. She was the beloved wife of the late Clayton Watson. Born in New Haven, October 20, 1915, a daughter of the late William and Katie Frieman Moulter, she had lived in New Haven and West Haven before moving to Wallingford 10 years ago. She had been employed by the Prospect Pharmacy in New Haven, and the Thruway Pharmacy in West Haven until her retirement 25 years ago. She had been a member of the Episcopal Church of St. Paul and St. James where she taught Sunday school and had been active in the church choir. Mrs. Watson is survived by her daughters, Linda Watson of Wallingford, and Sandy Papagoda and her husband Joseph of North Haven; her sons, Richard Watson and his wife Ann of Cheshire, and Raymond Watson and his wife Diane of Northford; her grandchildren, Nancy Watson, Stephanie Watson-Branch, Michelle Cicarella, Lisa Papagoda, and Joseph Papagoda; her great-grandchildren, Arianna Branch and Gianna Cicarella; and her puppies Jake and Prince. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services Tuesday at 1 p.m. at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St., Ext., Wallingford. The Rev. Alex Dyer, Priest-in-Charge of the Episcopal Church of St. Paul and St. James , will officiate. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111 ( ) to honor her love for animals.
