Ernest E. Wright

WRIGHT, ERNEST E. Ernest E. Wright, of Hamden, CT passed away on August 3, 2013 at St. Mary Hospital in Waterbury, CT. Ernest was born on Dec. 3, 1951, in Derby, CT. He is the son of the late Joseph and Essie Wright. He leaves behind his wife, Judy Wright, 4 sons, Ernest (Kim) Gattison, Jay (Tequila) McLaurin, Ernest (Keshia) McLaurin, Brandon McLaurin-Wright, a daughter, Ikeisha (Chad) Cagle, 2 brothers, Howard P. Wright, Denis (Rhonda) Wright, a sister, Cora (Bill) Askew, a special granddaughter, (Shaniqua McLaurin), 14-grandchildren, 3-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brothers, Joseph, Eugene, Keith, Kevin Wright, sisters, Doris Jones and Rona Wright. A ceremony of celebration of his life will be held Monday August 12, 2013 at 12 p.m. at Morning Star Church, 125 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT. Calling hours from 10 a.m. until time of service.
