FRANK STODDARD Obituary
STODDARD, FRANK Frank L. Stoddard, of East Haven, died Wednesday August 27, 2014 at the Arden House in Hamden. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara Augur Stoddard. Frank was born in New Haven April 20, 1932, son of the late Frank H. and Caroline Pollard Stoddard. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Frank worked as a machine repairman for Pratt & Whitney for over 30 years, until retiring in 1990. He was a member of American Legion Post 89 in East Haven, a member and Past-Master of Masonic Temple Momauguin Lodge in East Haven and was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason. He was a volunteer fireman for 61 years with Company 1 Headquarters, East Haven Fire Department. Frank is survived by his sons, Scott (Callista) Stoddard of Branford and Craig Stoddard of East Haven, and his grandsons, Scott, Jeff, Ryan and Christopher. He was predeceased by his sisters, Barbara Richetelli and Grace Caroline and Virginia Ann Stoddard. Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service Tuesday morning at 10:00 in Trinity Episcopal Church, on the green in Branford. Burial will follow in East Lawn Cemetery.
