VINCENT, FRANCIS P. Francis P. Vincent, 79, of Yalesville, died January 27, 2013, at MidState Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Roberta Snedeker Vincent. He was born in New Haven, November 13, 1933, a son of the late Francis C. and Mildred Gilson Vincent and had been a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He was employed by Pratt and Whitney Aircraft for 37 years until his retirement in 1993. He was a parishioner of the Our Lady of Fatima Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Yalesville Volunteer Fire Department. He was extremely active as a volunteer at the Wallingford Senior Center. In addition to his wife Roberta, he is survived by his daughters, Robin Hoynack and her husband William of Old Lyme, Jody Schulmeister and her husband Gregory of Old Saybrook; his son, Francis J. Vincent and his wife Lisa of Wallingford; his grandchildren, Brittany and Alyssa Hoynack, Jamie and Lauren Vincent, Megan and Colin Schulmeister, Amanda Toth and her husband Kevin, and Brittany, Mariah and Ryan Franco; his siblings, Sr. Joyce Vincent, Mildred Henderson and her husband Jeff, Mary Harvey, Joan Puglia and her husband Ralph, James Vincent and his wife Joanna, Kathleen Mulligan and her husband Gary, and Trudy Festa and her husband Lawrence; his brother-in-law John Matey, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Elaine Matey and his brothers, Richard and Robert Vincent. His family will receive relatives and friends in The Yalesville Funeral Home, 386 Main St. in the Yalesville section of Wallingford, on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. when the funeral cortege will proceed to Our Lady of Fatima Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
