Rivera, Frank Frank Rivera, 64 of 152 Tuthill Street, West Haven died peacefully on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Carmen Ocasio. Frank was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico on January 16, 1948, a son of Maria Luisa Bellisimo of Puerto Rico and the late Alberto Rivera, and had resided in West Haven for the past three years. Frank worked in the shipping and receiving department for L.O.F. Glass, formerly of North Haven for five years before moving back to Puerto Rico twelve years ago where he worked as a roofer. He is also survived by seven children, Mary Ann Roca of Hamden, Maria Rivera of North Branford, Jesus "Jr." Rivera of Ansonia, Francisco "Frank" Rivera, Jr. of North Branford, Michael Rivera of Meriden, Enrique "Ricky" Ramos of Orange, and Carlos and Natasha Rivera of West Haven, four siblings, Roberto and Blanca Rivera, and Elenita Alamo of New Haven and Madeline Rivera of Puerto Rico, and nineteen grandchildren. Frank's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m., the Reverend Eliseo Aponte officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven. www.washingtonmemorialfh.com
