KLING, GEORGE A., JR George A. Kling Jr. of Branford, died Saturday, February 2, 2013. George was born in New Haven, June 27, 1930, son of Alice Miller Kling and George A. Kling Sr. He is predeceased by his wife, Joan Barry Kling. He will be greatly missed by his five children, Debra Morawski (Walter), Cheryl Kling (Steve Scopino), Kerry Kling (Ellen), Kimberly Sikora (Andrew), and Christian Kling (Susie). Also survived by eight grandchildren, Barri, Colby (Amanda) Morawski; Sarah Kling; Codyanne Pauli, Travis and Dillion Kling; Kyle and Wyatt Sikora; and one great-grand daughter Jaelyn Turner and his beloved dogs Diva and Pudge. As a young man, he began his sales career at Branford's Ude Murray & Cannan. He later worked for Columbia Records and Dymo Industries in New York City before starting his own marketing consulting firm, Potential Profits Group. He thrived on his work which brought him all over the world. He traveled extensively with his wife and family to such places as Japan, China, Morocco, Great Britain, Ireland, Hawaii, Bora Bora, Tahiti, and a yearly retreat to Key West. There will be a memorial gathering at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St., Branford, Tuesday evening 5-7 pm. A private service will be held Wednesday.
