BERGAMI, JOHN FREDERICK John F. Bergami, a long time resident of Madison, CT, passed away peacefully on August 21st, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on St. Patrick’s Day, 1949, in New Haven, CT, to the late Fredrick Louis Bergami and Rosina Ripani Bergami. He is survived by son John J. Bergami, son Mark D. Bergami, daughter Coreen M. Bergami, and his grandson John Anthony Bergami. He is also survived by his sisters, Loretta Delucia, Claudette Glassman, and Elisa Predom.John was loved and cherished by Jean Sciongay and Elizabeth Molle. He was a proud member of the Westbrook Elks Club, Knights of Columbus, and the Shoreline Sailing Club. John was also proud of his service in the U.S. Navy. He had passion for fishing and boating. Friends may call Monday, August 25th, between the hours of 5pm and 8pm at the Guilford Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. George Church, 33 Whitfield St, Guilford on Tuesday, August 26th, 2014, at 11am. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven, CT.
