Jane was my classmate and lived in my dorm at Bryn Mawr and we shared an interest in and professional work in psychology. I cared deeply about her and loved seeing her at reunions. My sympathy to the family.

Dear Dr. Lewis,
I send you my deepest thoughts and condolences. I wrote to Jane in February to say that I was coming to Guilford and had such a cheerful note of anticipation from her. I only just learned this evening of her departure. I go under the name Caterina Verde now but I was Kathryn Greene - Richard Greene's daughter. I loved Jane dearly. I am terribly sorry. I am sending you all my most heartfelt thoughts. Caterina

Dearest and Kindest Member of the Lewis Family, Jane White Lewis was always right there to speak with, clear as a bell, assisting her physician husband, and being active in the International Association for the Interpretation of Dreams, of which organization she was both a member and a leader.
