GIANNOTTI, Kenneth J. Kenneth Joseph Giannotti, 67, of East Haven, beloved husband of Alyce Marie Cushman Giannotti, loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, died suddenly, Friday, June 28, 2013, at Yale New Haven Hospital. Ken was born in New Haven, August 10, 1945, the son of the late Carmine and Rita Conners Giannotti. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving honorably during the Vietnam War, and had been a member of VFW Post 10186 of Branford. He worked for Marlin Firearms, retiring as a supervisor after over 20 years of service, and was also employed by the New Haven Register as a supervisor in the Transportation Department for over 15 years. Besides his wife Alyce, Ken is survived by three children, Eve Marie (Brett) Peters, of Beacon Falls, Ann Marie (Fred) Costor, of East Haven, and Kenneth J. Giannotti, Jr., of East Haven; eight cherished grandchildren, Blaze, Sarah, Samantha, Evan, Christian, Hunter, Justin, and Taylor; two sisters, Beverly (Tony) Ferro, of North Haven, and Mary Margaret Giannotti, of Wallingford. He was predeceased by a sister, Rosalie Giannotti. Family and friends are invited to call at the Keenan Funeral Home, 330 Notch Hill Road, (Rte. 22 So at Rte. 80), North Branford, Monday, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. A prayer service will be held at 6:30.
